StayWell Interactive's project managers keep their focus on each client's specific needs working closely with our business, creative, content, informatics, technical and quality assurance professionals to deliver the solution that our client requires. In order to do this, StayWell Interactive has developed, and continuously improves, a successful methodology that is in line with industry best practices and their collective experience over many years of successfully delivering applications and services. Our methodology integrates business and technical consultancy, project management, system design and development, and support, allowing seamless transition from one project phase to another.
During each phase, StayWell Interactive staff work closely with the client to address each aspect of the solution. Each phase has one or more deliverables that constitute the completion of milestones within that phase. This approach provides a well-defined orderly execution of all aspects of the project.
The following section provides an overview of each phase:
- Discover Phase: Business analysis is the key activity of this phase. StayWell Interactive staff work with the client to ascertain their business goals - clearly relating the client's Internet objectives to those of its overall business.
- Design Phase: The purpose of this phase is to develop a detailed blueprint for the project. This blueprint is documented in a Statement of Work document, Technical Specifications, Story Boards, and a Project Plan. The Statement of Work defines the detailed requirements, technical approach and project structure including necessary team members and their associated roles and responsibilities. The Technical Specifications include details such as: architecture, system design, web page design, database model and reporting specifications. The Story Board defines the pages and navigational flow of a website or product and includes placement and brief descriptions of a page's components (i.e., text, graphics, navigational elements). The Project Plan includes tasks, deliverables and milestones.
- Develop Phase: Based on the design phase deliverables the team constructs and implements all elements, graphics, content and programming, of the website or product. The website or product is then deployed to a staging environment (this is an exact replica of the production environment) where it can be thoroughly tested.
- Quality Assurance Phase: Meticulous and comprehensive testing of all custom software and Web content is conducted to ensure that application objects function properly and that all defined requirements have been met. The levels and types of testing conducted by the StayWell Interactive Quality Assurance staff to ensure product quality are as follows:
- Unit/Component Testing
- Integration/System Testing
- Content Unit Testing
- User Acceptance Testing
- Deploy Phase: After the Acceptance Test is complete and approval is received from the client the website or product is prepared for production release. It is then migrated to the production environment where it is managed and supported on on-going basis.
